What’s Your ‘Religion’ And What Are Your Habits?

What’s Your ‘Religion’ And What Are Your Habits?

The family and I were eating breaky this morning
and the mrs noticed something that not many people
do.

She asked; I noticed your dad finish’s every last crumb
on everyones plate.

Then I said: It’s part of his religion to make sure
nothing is left over as waste.

And then mrs replied: Well then, my religion is making sure
no chocolate is left to waste.

Fair enough right, on my dads part? After all I’m sure the
UK wastes enough food that can feed half of starving people
in Africa.

And although quite funny but a little cheeky of my
Girlfriend I did laugh at what she said… but will
let that one slide.

And get this, yesterday my dad was asking me why his
belly wasn’t shifting.

Go figure dad?!

Religion aside, us adults still have so many of our
trates that we’ve picked up as kids and it’s still
affecting our lifestyle AND our waist to this day.

Say we go out for dinner to a friends and we feel obligated
to eat every last bit of food on the plate and
then kindly have seconds (if offered). After feeling
stuffed and looking 3 months pregnant you may then go
and polish off a nice big slice of cheesecake
because again it was served to you so you feel
obligated to eat it.

“Oh go then, one slice won’t hurt…”

Don’t tell me you haven’t said that one too many
times before??

Take good note here: You know you’re full BUT you’re
still diving head first for more food because;

1. You’ve been offered it and it’s hard to say no.
2. Those sugar receptors in the brain have now made
your mouth water at the idea of eating a cheesecake
because your brain knows what’s coming.

This partly your subconscious mind working to play
tricks on you because of how you were brought up as a
kid.

Let me tell you, those slices add up very quickly Mr
and Mrs piglet…

And if fat loss is your goal you have to play it quite
safe and try a bit of ‘flexible dieting’ (which I’ll be
teaching on my next program) so you don’t go over your
calorie requirements.

So tell me NAME, is it the law of reciprocity in action
or just pure greediness?

Let’s think about this together.

How many times were you told as a kid:

“You can’t leave the table until you’ve finished your
dinner”

“You can’t have pudding until you’ve had every
last bit of food on your plate.”

“You have to finish you dinner otherwise you don’t
get to watch TV tonight.”

Everything about it was negative. If you didn’t eat
what’s on the plate, you wouldn’t have got your reward
at the end of your meal.

You may or may not realise it, but a lot of our eating
habits and ideas around food have been formed from our
childhood and how our parents used to feed us.

You better believe it baby!

That’s why forming new habits with food is so hard
because it’s been imprinted into YOU and YOUR lifestyle
since your were a kid.

Plus with all the addictive shit food which manufacturers
use these days, it makes it 10x harder to change
your old ways. Plus you have to quit your addiction
to said foods. Be it cocacola, ready meals, law fat
foods and sugar etc…

Sucks, right???

That’s why having a coach like me and my team is
without a doubt the best way to help you understand and
make progress to fully transforming your life.

Away from the yo-yo diet.

Eliminating the confusion.

And getting your body back to how it used to look
and feel.
