We’ve been bombarded with questions which is great as the
more we can help interested people get clarity on what
Schweeet is and how it can benefit there lives, the better.
So we’ve rolled out some F.A.Q’s.
And if these don’t cover them, please feel free to hit reply
and ask away.
Q.1 How did we come up with the idea of Schweeet?
We wanted a sweetener that kept bodies in nutritional ketosis
and kept ketones flowing in the blood. If you haven’t heard of
the Ketogenic Diet before look it up on google, it’s awesome.
Our current members are getting awesome results from it.
Anyway, after a lot of research, we found that sucralose
was the only sweetener available, that did not knock the
body out of Ketosis.
PLUS Sucralose is already used in wine and beer production…
Bet you didn’t know that??
We found that if we mixed pure sucralose with distilled water
it did not play havoc with blood sugar levels, it didn’t
take the body out of ketosis and it has the massive benefits
of zero calories and zero carbohydrates.
Q.2 What is our mission for creating Schweeet?
We want to create a sweetener which is available to the diet &
fitness world and the public that does not contain any binding
agents, which you find in the sweeteners currently available
on the market.
If you look at the back of the ingredients of most sweeteners,
if not all of them use some kind of sugar derivative or differently
named sugar, such as dextrose or maltodextrin, amongst others,
which aparently is purely in there to bulk out the tablets
themselves to keep them in solid form.
We are providing a zero calorie, zero carbohydrate sweetener
with just one ingredient.
Q.3 How is Schweeet going to benefit the average dieter?
Most people, dieting or not, have cravings for sweet food and
drink, and most want to consume as few calories as possible.
One drop of Schweeet has the same taste as two teaspoons of
sugar, but contains absolutely no calories. You are saving
32 calories for every single drop you use. Over the space
of a day, week or month this could save you a considerable
amount of calories.
I will do some maths tonight and lay it out plain and simple
in tomorrow’s email.
Q.4 What chemicals are found in Schweeet?
There is only one single chemical. This is called sucralose.
The other agent is distilled water which has no negative effects
on the body whatsoever. sucralose is very closeley molecularly
the same as sugar. It was discovered by Tate and Lyle scientists
and is a derivative of sugar itself. Between 80% and 92% of it
doesn’t get absorbed by the body at all, and gets excreted, the
rest is removed through urine after entering your blood system.
Q.5 What research has been done into the chemical sucralose?
When sucralose first hit the market, there were reports of it
being linked to migraines and some suggestions that it could be
detremental to the immune system. However, in a review of the
evidence in 2000 the Scientific Committee on Food (SCF) proved and
concluded that sucralose is completely safe for human consumption.
It is definitely not harmful to the immune system, does not cause
cancer, infertility or indeed affect blood sugar levels at
all. It will not cause any tooth decay and it is already found
in health products and chewing gum. It also has zero impact
on blood glucose. All of this was confirmed by the European
Food Safety Authority (EFSA) in a 2001 review.
Q.6 How heavily processed is sucralose?
It is not really processed. It is just a single chemical which
can be added to a product. A lot of companies are switching to
sucralose, for example, Pepsi are switching to sucralose from
aspartame, after researching sucralose.
Q.7 How much Schweeet can I consume daily?
The acceptable daily intake for sucralose is 15mg per 1kg of
body weight, but there is no proof of any adverse effects if
more is consumed.
After one drop, you will not need anything else!
Q.8 Why can’t I buy sucralose on the high street?
You can buy it on the high street, but it comes with binding
agents and added chemicals.
Schweeet is purely sucralose and distilled water.
Q.9 Can diabetics use Schweeet?
Yes of course. In fact, we already have several diabetics using
Schweeet with great success. We have used a blood and keto
tracker, and it shows absolutely no change to blood sugar
levels.
This is great, because it can curb someone’s sweet tooth, without
that person having to adjust their insulin.
Q.10 Can you cook with Schweeet?
Not as such. You can, however, add it to your food and heat
it up without any issues.
For example – add it to your milk, which then goes into your
porridge. If you wanted to use it to bake a cake for example,
you would need a granulated product.
There are some on the market currently but they are less
sweet than actual sugar. You can add Schweeet to this product
to make it sweeter, so you will use less of the granulated
product, and as a result, consume fewer calories. You can
add it to tea and coffee or make hot chocolates. You can
even sweeten up chocolate itself!
If you buy a bar of 100% coco chocolate, just add a few drops
of Schweeet to the chocolate bar and freeze or chill it.
You then have super sweet, sugar free chocolate! Happy days
ladies!
So hope that clears the fog about what Schweeet is.
