3 Reasons Why We Don’t Beast You

3 Reasons Why We Don’t Beast You

So today I trained 6 new members that took the

plunge and signed up to our recent back to

school body transformation program.

We filled 10 places in the end, so have 2 places available.

3 of the girls had done exercised before so

were well versed and confident that they wouldn’t die (not

that we beast you on there first session, we don’t) and

the other 3 I could see were quite worried as they didn’t

know what to expect.

Totally fair and reasonable point.

I had one of my coaches take part this morning

to give some extra help to look after the newbies

and work them at a pace that suited them.

For some, exercise is hard, really hard and the last

thing they want to do.

So our aim is to make it as fun and ‘pain free’ as

possible…

Obviously there is the element of the puffyness and

soreness, just know that we don’t destroy you the

first session.

1. It’s stupid as most new starters have little

knowledge on technique, so that’s what we tend

to work on for the first week alone.

2. It’s counter productive. Imagine yourself

the first time you tried to exercise. It was

hard, as soon as you got tired and stiff it

became increasingly difficult to move and perform

the exercise correctly.

3. You’ll probably need to sit on the loo the next day

without your legs giving way.

What I really wanted to hammer home today are your

insecurities about exercising in a new environment.

(keeping things real again… sorry)

“People will think I’m really unfit”

“I’m so unfit I’ll hold everyone up”

“I’ll be the biggest there”

“I’m so unfit, I need to get fit first”

Im going to be brutally honest here… nobody cares

about any of that.

It has nothing do to with anyone else.

So why do you let it stop you from doing what YOU know

is right??

It seems to be because people are a bit lost

as to what to do, how to train and how to get results.

They feel lost and let themselves down, which leads

to a lack confidence in themselves and the inability

to snap out of it until it’s too bloody late.

You stop training, you eat cake, you get fat.

Seriously are you going to let that happen again OR are

you going to suck it up do something about it?

Because until you forget about what other people

are not thinking about you, you wont be getting results.

When was the last time you educated yourself about

exercise and nutrition?

And I’m not talking about weight watchers and slimming

world. They are just a cop out way to ‘try’ and even

attempt to lose weight.

I’m talking about really understanding the fundamental

principles on what makes YOU tick, how you should train

and what you should be eating.

I fully understand though.

If you’ve never been taught this stuff before it’s

natural to feel insecure in new environments.

Which is why I created ProjectU to take away the

intimidation and fear of the unknown.

Everyone here understands it’s hard in the beginning (like

most things).

So the sooner you get over your insecurity the sooner you’ll

have a body you’ll be happy in.

Grab one of the last 2 places.
