I Got Caught Speeding

I Got Caught Speeding

I got done.

Again!

By the Police speed gun 2 weeks back when I was driving down Charminster Road.

speeding I Got Caught Speeding

Last time I got caught was back in 2009 - by another speed gun.

It was actually quite funny because when I went to the driver’s awareness course all the vehicles in the car park were either 2 litre sports car, 4×4 trucks and there’s me with my 599cc smart car…

Some dude said, “Can smarts even break the speed limit??”

Cheeky git! icon razz I Got Caught Speeding

I may have looked like a hamster in a ball but those little cars are reliable, nippy, and can park ANYWHERE.

I bet he couldn’t find a single parking space by the beach with his 4×4.

So anyway…

I get a little excited when I go to my fitness camps because I love making people work hard (at their own pace) and transforming their bodies.

When I’ve got my music on loud playing on the radio it naturally makes me drive a little faster.

Now please don’t think I’m one of those boy racers that speed everywhere in their car.

I just went past Bournemouth school for boys and the straight downhill towards the Broadway roundabout which is always clear, with zero pedestrians and little oncoming traffic

I got caught doing 39 in a 30…

Hardly 60, 70 but fair enough, I broke the law and it’s time to pay for it…

I must fill out the form and send it off!

Me speeding is a bit like you when you go on a diet.

You’re ready to start

You’re motivated

You’re ready to do what it takes

You want the results fast

You want them now

And you speed ahead full pelt hoping that it will get you back to what it used to be…

But the problem is the majority of people don’t go at it as a lifestyle

Instead they diet by cutting calories out, exercise more and not focus on the quality of what they eat.

That short lived diet won’t last long because your body will slow down, grind to a halt and damage the body internally.

Your weight won’t budge.

Your energy levels will be rubbish

And your motivation to carry on will be zero

Then you end up pretty much where you started off.

You need to live a lifestyle which doesn’t involve quick fixes, but instead, involves clean, fresh, wholesome foods…

There are no supplements, meal replacements or shakes that can replace REAL food.

They should only supplement a good balanced lifestyle (diet)

Next time you really want to make a difference to your body

Make sure it’s a lifestyle commitment.

Don’t speed off and expect wonders in a couple of weeks.
