I’m not talking about poor gut problems and bad
flatulence, although I have my moments.
I’m talking about the lovely pack of digestive
biscuit/s (or pack) you may have had today…
…Like me.
I’ve been staring at a pack of digestive biscuits
for the last week at my granddads.
Every time I’ve gone to make a coffee, there they
are.
Things like biscuits don’t really cross my mind or
even temp me but being hungry and the pack staring at
me all week I caved in and said ‘just one’…
7 biscuits later and 2 cheese sandwiches.
I set of the sugar domino and managed to stop when I
felt sick as a dog and ready to throw up.
See, right now I’m under a fair bit of stress and my
food hasn’t been up to scratch.
I didn’t take further care and place any preventative
measures in places to stop any silly binges from
happening but it was too late.
So lesson well learnt.
No ones perfect and today certainly was just one of
those days where I didn’t eat up to my usual
standard.
So incase you’ve had a bad day, simply accept it
and don’t use it as an excuse to start your diet again
next Monday.
Plan your day ahead so you have food ready.
Put temptation away from site.
In fact don’t even buy it.
If you work in an office, I do feel your pain but you
do have to bight the bullet and simply commit and say
no.
And if you still think thoughts like;
“What in the world is wrong with me?”
“I can’t get in shape no matter how hard I try.”
“I feel sluggish all the time.”
“I’m a happy person but sometimes I feel so depressed.”
“I find myself craving food all the time”
“I just can’t say no”
Maybe it’s time to get some professional help to
get you started?
