I’m half Turkish and half English. My Mum’s English, Dad is Turkish. I was born in Germany. Lived there for 2 years, went to Turkey for another 8 years and have been living in the UK since 1999.
I love food, especially Mediterranean. People think I’m really rigid when it comes down to eating but most of the time it’s not true. I cook clean wholesome food and enjoy a cheat meal, or two or three every week. Mainly it involves cheese!
I’m incredibly lazy!! I do as little as possible on a day to day basis. So business stuff gets done first, taking care of members, creating content, working on projects. Cleaning is the last thing that gets done.
I love afternoon siestas. It reminds me of my childhood when I used to be at my grandparents summer house down the south of Turkey near Marmaris. When it got hot in the afternoon the whole family used to rest and sleep as it was too hot to do anything. So I’m still hardwired to have them every now and then.
I hate bullies. After being bullied badly when I was young for being foreign it infuriates me when I see bullying happening around me. Don’t watch this happen and take action to stop it!
I swam from a very young age and became a pretty good swimmer around the age of 13-14. I played water polo for around 3 years.
In case you missed it, I love cheese. The smellier the cheese the better. I’ve even got as far as Dorchester to get the locally made un-pasteurised cheese which you cannot get in Bournemouth, which was amazing.
I’ve travelled the UK and flown abroad to learn from the best in the fitness industry and spend between 3-5 grand a year so I can provide even better results for my members at ProjectU.
I’m not a fan of cheap because cheap never really lasts and it doesn’t provide a great service. So I stand strong in saying that we are the most expensive fitness camp in town and we deliver an exclusive service which delivers results!
I do my best to help, but sometimes you just have to let go and understand you can’t help everybody.
For as long as I can remember I’ve HATED walking. Probably because it takes too long to get to places. So don’t ask me if I’d like to go for a walk on the beach because the answer will be a no!
BUT I do enjoy training. It’s more fun and keeps my brain occupied so if you need a training partner give me a shout!
Ever since I moved out from my mums last year on the 1st July I’ve come to appreciate life more. Having my own space gives me a lot more time to think clearer without the family shouting in the house. Ha ha hope mums not reading right now!
I’m quite immature and can take jokes a little too far sometimes…
I truly believe that educating kids is the way forward in helping reduce the obesity epidemic in UK. Part of my Healthier Bournemouth Initiative. I have been teaching at Bournemouth’s primary schools and what I have found out it quite scary. So I’m out to make a change to the young lives in Bournemouth.
Before I joined the fitness industry I used to work in a kebab house. Selling kebabs, chicken burgers, pizza’s, fried chicken, and eating them daily!
This year I completed my first tough mudder with who I call my friends and clients. It was an awesome experience, which we will all do again VERY soon!
I’ve free dived to 25 metres in Turkey which was a scary experience!
I’ve held my breath under water for 2 and half minutes
I used to hate running until recently after completing a tough mudder which was just under 12 miles
I’m very injury prone which is infuriating but just have to get on with it!
If I’m having a bad day that best thing to do is make people laugh and soon after you’ll feel much better!
I didn’t know how to read or write English when I moved to the UK so my grammar is terrible which is why my awesome PA goes through everything I write.
Sometimes, I feel like I’ve been living in a box because I don’t know some of the words in the English dictionary.
Back in my teens I was attacked by a swarm of wasps protecting their nest, which I had no idea was there. It hurt A LOT!
I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve been swimming training and not brought a towel with me so I had to use my socks to dry myself with, my CLEAN SOCKS!
When I woke up once, I had a dry throat, I coughed and my airways closed up. Then I was running around my mum’s house like a headless chicken panicking thinking I was going to die. The thought of me being dead on my mum’s floor naked with my morning glory wasn’t the way I wanted it end HA HA!
That’s it for now
I might do another one in future with all my X-rated stuff.
They still crack me up when I tell people…
