I keep hearing the term ‘normal eating’ from friends and in particular some of the successful applicants that join ProjectU.
On my application form I ask “What have you tried in the past? What’s worked? And, What didn’t work”
Answer: I’ve tried dieting loads before, I lost weight but when I started eating normal again it all went straight back on.”
From experience I can bet you £20 I know what type of diet this person went on… but that’s not the point of this message.
Also, normal eating for me can be completely different for you.
The first thing that must change with this ‘dieting to normal eating’ approach is you need to make a commitment to change.
To change yourself
To change your behaviour
To change your habits.
It’s not just about dieting, exercising and expecting it to carry on smooth sailing with full blowing wind. It just doesn’t work like that.
You have to be truthful to yourself.
This might upset you but the shape you are in right now is directly correlated to the lifestyle you currently live.
Everything you have done in the last 1-2-3-4 years has given you your body today.
Now when a person diets, very often, it has a dramatic impact on their weight, which is to be expected.
Note: If you go on a low calories diet of any kind you will lose weight without a doubt. But that weight is mainly water, muscle loss and excess poo but not a lot of fat, that’s a hole other kettle of fish.
People miss out the important part of the puzzle.
They aren’t ready to change for good.
So when women finish their said diet they jump back to ‘normal eating’… What ever that might be.
So why does this happen?
#1 The diet/program didn’t teach them how to change the ‘normal eating’ to improve their health and of course body shape.
#2 Because it’s bloody hard going at it on your own. Trying to keep yourself motivated. Training when all you want to do is stay in and watch tv. Going through the pain of a workout.
It can be frightening. Especially when you have to do it 3-4 times a week.
Even me, a Body Transformation Coach, I was trying to talk myself out of going to the gym today because I just could not be bothered. I still can’t get rid of that annoying comfort voice in my head. haha
This is exactly why we have created ProjectU. A proven program with a supportive community with like-minded friends which is key for your long term success.
We have a system in place to help you make those changes so you don’t keep stopping and starting every time you feel completely fed up about the way you look and feel.
Once you start, you will have the support and the transformation you’ve always wanted.
All you’ve got to do is take the step to start…
We’ve a couple of spaces opened up so you can apply here.
Also a word of honest advice, stop waiting for that perfect moment as it will probably never come.
