Winter Vs Summer (True Story)

Winter Vs Summer (True Story)

I was talking to a member last night and doing my normal

‘routine’ check ups with everyone, I got talking

to Claire.

She really struggled to eat better during the summer

months purely because she was always so busy going

to BBQ’s , parties and family gatherings.

Fair point.

Even I struggled.

Following a meal plan was a complete waste of time

as she never stuck to it.

She never had time and there wasn’t much point

beating herself up for it either.

^^^ Lesson to be learnt there ^^^

So Claire aimed for the ‘old everything in

moderation nothing in excess’ motto and it worked

to keep her at the same place.

Weight and shape.

But what was impressive is that her fitness still

I even noticed she had gained some lean muscle too.

Arms were definitely looking better.

She was squatting with more weight.

Shoulder pressing - 2 x 12kg Kettlebells to be exact.

And smashing through everything I told her to do.

So an ok ‘ish’ diet still gave her the strength to

improve her shape.

After our little chat it brought back some old memories

of other clients saying how much easier it is to

eat well and get in shape during the winter

After all summer bodies start during the winter,

not two weeks before you need to get your bikini

But you might be thinking, what the hell are you on

Jango?

It’s hard at winter too with the darker, shorter and

colder days.

Ok so it’s harder for you during the summer because

you’re too busy and your saying it’s hard during the

winter months too.

When is it actually easy??

Well, its true isn’t it.

Dont get me wrong, when you’re in the flow of

fitness and you’ve got into the habit of eating well

and training, it is easier to maintain.

It’ll probably make you a little angry because

you might of been expecting the ‘magic’ answer.

I’m here to disappoint you.

I’ll tell you how to make training in the winter months easier.

First up, it’s never easy but with consistency it

becomes easier to maintain.

Like many things in life that you start from scratch,

it’s hard but as you practice it daily it becomes

second nature.

Take cooking for instance, I couldn’t cook a simple

scrambled egg. In fact I burnt my first 4 efforts first.

Now I like to say I make a lovely scrambled egg, which

will match a top chef.

That goes for training, eating and getting

The more you do it, even if you hate it and feel like

shit, the better you get at it.

So how can you make the winter months easier?

You did a lot of it when you were a kid.

You might have done it once or twice this month, if

you’ve been lucky.

I know a lot people who barely get 5 hours.

Think, dribble, venus fly trap, or taking your

imagination to another level, ‘apparently’ we eat

10 spiders a year whilst doing it!! YUK!!

SLEEP!

I know I know, you knew that.

So when was the last time you had 8 hours sleep, 5 nights

in a row?

I wont bore you with the sciencey stuff but know this…

Lack of sleep is one of the reasons why you have

a spare tyre around the mid section.

Lack of sleep is the reason why you can’t control

your cravings.

Lack of sleep, the reason why you’ve become a grump.

Lack of sleep is the reason why you’ve got zero get up

and go.

Lack of sleep is the reason why your body has become

a mess.

You see, sleep is probably one of the best ways to help your

body lose fat. Almost as good as exercise.

And it could be the missing link and why you’re not

getting the results desire.

Listen, I’m not here to preach.

I’m not here to tell you to go to bed 1 hour earlier

than you do or that you should supplement your sleep

with some good quality magnesium and get yourself a

lumie lamp.

Although the above would be a good idea icon wink Winter Vs Summer (True Story)

I’m here to piss you off and make you understand this…

When does it come to the point where you realise it’s

time to stop making excuses.

Winter or summer, when do you start ‘manning up’ and

realise that life will make what you want and

desire hard as hell to achieve.

When it’s too late??

When you’ve grown out of your wardrobe?

When you can’t breath properly after you’ve walked

up a flight of stairs?

When you become a moody mare, fed up and frustrated

and lose all hope of getting back to the weight when

you were happy at?

So when??

It’s quite simple (may not seem it right now) but

right now you have a choice.

You can keep blaming life for your lack of results

and progress or you can take control of health

and take what is rightfully yours.

You’ve read this today because I’m guessing you want help.

And I know the only way you will take action on your

goals is by helping you realise the pain of being

in the same place.

The pain of being fat.

The pain frumpy.

And pain of being fed up with no confidence.

I know reading that will probably hurt.

But it’s the truth.

And there is no point in keeping your head in the sand as

it will only suffocate you more, it will not lead you

to a life of happiness.

After reading this blog if you’ve not considered

actioning the above, please exit this page.

As you’ll never take action.

So what’s stopping you from actually taking the plunge?

If you’re outgoing, fed up, and a frustrated female

dieter that wants to break their weight loss plateau,

to drop fat from areas which you hate most, so that you

can lead a life full of confidence and vanity, this is for you.
